Well, here we are already into the first week of May in Sonoma County. The weather has been simply delightful and this weekend was no exception.  May marks the start of lots of warm weather activities in Santa Rosa and Rohnert Park in Sonoma County. This Wednesday will be the official kick of Santa Rosa’s Downtown Farmers Market. By the way May 9th is the date for the start of the Market and it runs all through summer from 5-8:30pm each Wednesday evening.

You know the old saying, April showers bring May flowers. Well so far we might just be well on our way to lots of that here in Sonoma County.

The parking lot where the new 24 hour fitness center in Rohnert Park seems so full recently. Our neighbors are really taking advantage of the great new opportunity to get fit. The line at the ice cream pallor next door wasn'’t any shorter though, so we still have room for improvement.

I simple love the smell of Redwood Trees after all the rain. Sonoma County is heavily populated with these glorious giants. Our Coddingtown Mall Apartments in Santa Rosa has quite a few of these beauties on their well landscaped grounds. This can provide the peacefulness of being in the forest with all the conveniences you enjoy in the city.

In less than a week the calendar will be telling us all it is spring.
Honestly it seems as those winter just got here with all the rain we are having.

This past Saturday was the beginning of daylight savings time.
